Benefits of waxing over shaving
Waxing lasts longer than shaving because it pulls the hair from the roots.
Waxing does not cut or nick your skin like shaving, which can leave you with scars, especially If your skin is susceptible to discoloration even from a minor cut.
Shaving can cause rashes on sensitive skin.
Waxing makes the hair grow slower and finer.
Waxing produces smoother results because hair is pulled by the root.
Contrary to popular belief, waxing is not always painful and If you do it right it is almost pain-free.
After care tips
Allow hair to grow at least 1/4 of an inch or 10 to 15 days.
Avoid stimulants like alcohol and caffeine.
Avoid oily lotions on the area to be waxed.

Don’t wear tight or restrictive clothing.
Don’t use perfumed products.
Don’t rub or touch the waxed area since this can encourage infection.
Don’t use deodorants or antiperspirants.
Don’t use self-tanning products and make-up.
Don’t scrub the waxed area.
Common side effects
Bumps, irritation, and redness are typical and should not last more than three days.
Waxing, especially on the face, can cause the skin to peel off.
Give the skin some time to get used to the waxing process, it is an excellent way of getting rid of unwanted hair, but it is not for everyone.
If you have tried waxing for at least 3 or 4 months and your skin doesn’t react well, you should consider other hair removal methods.
